Guidelines for all Volunteers
- Sign in at the Victorian Farmhouse front entrance office when you arrive at the school to volunteer.
- If you are volunteering in a classroom you will have to have a Background Check through our Human Resource Department.
- Wear your volunteer button or name tag provided when you arrive.
- Use only the areas designated by the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Sign out at the Victorian Farmhouse front entrance office when you leave the School.
- Return your volunteer button or name tag.
- Please respect confidences of students and school personnel.
- Be considerate, respect competencies and work as a member of the team with the staff and students.
- Please note that parents are responsible for supervising their children while on campus. If you are volunteering for a job your child should be with you at all times. The play structures are off limits. Picnics are fine.
- The staff you work with will depend upon you to be present at your scheduled time. All tasks will be planned with your acceptance to volunteer for that specific task. Therefore, if you are not able to volunteer on a particular day, please notify the Volunteer Coordinator immediately at:

What a Volunteer Can Expect from the Volunteer Coordinator:
- Provide specific instructions to the volunteer.
- Provide space for the volunteer to do their work.
- Provide necessary materials and equipment. and directions for the work to be performed.
- Communicate with the volunteer as needed.
- Provide advance notice when special events interfere with the volunteer time.
