Parent Resources
Oak Farm Montessori School is thrilled by your interest in Montessori education and our classrooms. Whether you are new to Montessori or looking to deepen your understanding, we offer a variety of resources to support your child’s growth in independence, awareness, responsibility, and compassion.
Our dedicated faculty is here to guide you through the journey of Montessori parenting and to keep you connected to the incredible learning happening in our prepared environments. This is your go-to source for classroom updates and insights into topics that matter to you as a parent. We invite you to explore these resources and experience the joy of learning through discovery, curiosity, and exploration.

In this workshop, you will learn how to enter your child’s world and discover practical strategies for encouragement, turning challenging moments into opportunities to teach valuable social and life skills. Gain tools to support children in resolving conflicts, such as sibling disagreements, while helping them feel confident and capable. We will explore alternatives to punishment and humiliation, examine the long-term effects of these approaches, and learn how to involve children in creating agreements, with parents taking responsibility for kind, consistent follow-through.
This in-person workshop is offered for just $25 per person or $45 per couple. Classes are held multiple times throughout the year, please check back for updated dates and times.
The workshop is led by Oak Farm Montessori teacher Ines Oldenburg, a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and Classroom Educator, encouragement consultant, and non-violence communication trainer, dedicated to empowering families and children alike.
Class sign ups are to be announced.
