Part-Time Spanish Teacher

We are seeking a candidate for a part time Spanish Teacher (approximately 20 hours/week). This position is open for the 2026-27 School year.  This teacher will work to introduce Spanish to small groups of students in our infant, toddler, primary classrooms (ages 6 weeks to 6 years old) and with small groups of 1st, 2nd and 3rd years in our Elementary Spanish program.   Learning Spanish at Oak Farm Montessori, students are provided with a wide variety of activities, games, songs and other opportunities that give them a chance to practice their oral and written expression in Spanish.  In addition, the teacher prepares hands-on cultural experiences with Hispanic culture and learning about countries around the world.

Candidates for this position will hold a Bachelor’s degree and preferably two years of experience teaching. We are seeking individuals demonstrating a track record of strong collaboration, communication, compassion and competence in working with children within a child-centered philosophy.  Good instincts with safety, supervision, time management and teaching responsibility is desirable. Candidates who are a native Spanish speaker is preferred, but not required. A great candidate should be a lifelong learner with a drive to inspire children to love the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures and be inspired.
