BASKETBALL & CHEERLEADING:

As our winter athletic seasons begin to wrap up, we have several special events coming up over the next few weeks that we are excited to share with our Oak Farm Montessori community.

The 5th and 6th grade, and Middle School basketball teams wrapped up their seasons on a strong note. Throughout the year, the athletes showed tremendous improvement, played hard, and stayed focused. Both teams earned some exciting upset wins, showing just how bright the future is for our future Falcons.

Our Falcons Cheerleading squads also had an outstanding season. Their hard work and dedication were on full display at every home game, bringing incredible energy and school spirit to the court. We would also like to thank our Falcons mascot for making special appearances during the final games, Falcons pride was on full display!

The Falcons spirit is strong, and we are excited for what the future holds!

HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL:

Looking ahead, our final high school basketball game of the 2025–2026 season will take place on Monday, February 2nd, as the Falcons take on Lakewood Christian Park. We encourage everyone to mark their calendars, bring their Falcons spirit, and come out to support our athletes and coaches one last time this season.

To celebrate our younger athletes, we will be hosting a Youth Recognition Night for both basketball and cheerleading during the February 2nd game. More details to be shared.

Over the weekend, the Oak Farm Falcons high school basketball teams played four strong games. The teams traveled to Plymouth to compete in a doubleheader at the Auto Sport Complex.

The JV team played with great effort but came up short, finishing the weekend 0–2. The varsity team had an impressive showing, going 2–0 and playing extremely well together as a unit.

A special highlight came during Saturday’s first game, when Ryan Kochanski reached a major milestone, scoring his 1,000th career point for the Oak Farm Falcons basketball program. Congratulations to Ryan on this outstanding achievement, what a memorable accomplishment!

This past Tuesday, the high school basketball team hosted the Heritage High School C-team in a gym filled with Falcons spirit. The Falcons earned the win with a strong, well-played game by everyone. All players saw the court as the team secured the victory for the evening.

The night also served as Senior Night, as we honored our senior athletes and their parents prior to the game, thanking them for their leadership and commitment throughout their four years at Oak Farm Montessori. At halftime, the senior basketball players and cheerleader each selected an OFMS staff member they wished to recognize for their positive impact and support.

It was truly an amazing and memorable night for our seniors, their families, and the entire Falcons community.

HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING:

The High School Falcons Bowling team wrapped up their season last week, and it was a year full of growth and progress. Significant improvement was seen throughout the season as the team showed strong support for one another and continued to develop their skills.

Many of our bowlers were first-year athletes, competing against schools with players who have several years of experience. Despite this challenge, the Falcons stayed positive, worked hard, and improved each week.

Coach Aaric Page did a great job keeping the team motivated and encouraging a positive mindset, while helping each athlete grow throughout the season. Coach Page is already looking forward to building on this progress and continuing to develop this group of bowlers next season.

HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING:

Another historic chapter was added to the Oak Farm Montessori School history books this year with the launch of our first-ever high school swimming team.

The Falcons Swim team included 18 student-athletes, both male and female, and competed in a seven-meet schedule. Our swimmers were excited to have the opportunity to represent Oak Farm Montessori and compete as a team against other schools.

Despite being new and having smaller numbers, the Falcons remained competitive in their meets and showed great determination and teamwork. OFMS is extremely proud of these student-athletes for setting the foundation for a strong and growing swim program.

These Falcons are talented, hardworking swimmers, and we are excited to see how this program continues to grow and what next season will bring!
