AFS Information Event

Did you know Oak Farm Montessori is hosting its first AFS exchange student?
Antonia Rivera, from Northern Chile, is being hosted by OFMS parents and Kendallville residents Kevin and Nicole Lowe. Antonia has fit right into the Lowe family and has joined the Bluefins swim team, FFA, and the Mayors Youth Advisory (MYAC) along with her academic (and social) involvement at the school. While hailing from a desert terrain, Antonia has embraced the cooler temperatures and even tried her hand at skiing!
If you are looking for an opportunity to open your heart and home to an AFS student but don't know where to start, join us for our informational meeting. Oak Farm Montessori School is hosting a gathering of Northeast Indiana's AFS exchange students from OFMS, East Noble, and Homestead, their families, and volunteers from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 19th, at our high school.
There will be introductions, light refreshments and time for questions and answers about student exchanges through AFS and the State Department's YES program.
