Philanthropic Performing Artists

The Oak Farm Montessori Middle School played to a full house last Thursday night in our Wellness Center. The whole student body pitched in to put on a great show. Students helped build the stage and make the set; put together costumes and props; made playbills, coloring books, and concessions; and the actors delivered an amazing show.
But why? To give back to the community! One hundred percent of the proceeds from the show will go to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne, whose mission is to make sure everyone has a “decent place to live.” Students chose this worthy cause because, as 7th year Oliver G. shared, “it directly benefits people in need” and they believe in its mission. The show met its goal of $2,000 Thursday night, but still will have sales this month that donate 50% of profits to help raise more for this worthy cause.
Consider attending one of the morning or afternoon sales during the month of March to help further their support of Habitat for Humanity!
