In this video you will hear how Oak Farm Montessori High School (OFMHS) encourages an entrepreneurial mindset for their students by providing various Pathways and internships. Students can choose from working in a business setting, agricultural environment, or pursue their own passion. OFMHS is preparation for life, not just a test.

we really emphasize entrepreneurship one of the ways that we do this is through our Pathways program so all of our students have the opportunity to work in a business setting that in some areas is Cutting Edge or is a real-world environment to help them learn what is look like to work in a standard industry shop or actually doing work on a farm actually doing work in an innovation Center is something that you don't see any high school it's like a Makerspace on it's got so much potential and kids aren't just they're playing there's always a purpose to the work they're doing down there I am in in a lab and I helped with invoices and communicating with like our clients into so many things that it's all hands on I even helped with coffee shop like and getting that up and running so we're just really able to decide what we want to do so if you don't want to go to farm you don't have to like not everybody is doing far more all doing the things but we love it we want to do something or fashion about this really about the whole child and just learning about the world around them whether that be on the farm in like agriculture or setting or working in a small business is all about learning different things that are real life applicable and using those to better our world
