Seeking a candidate for a Bus Driver and maintenance support position (40 hours/week).
Oak Farm Montessori engages staff who reach for excellence as lifelong learners, in
leadership, in emotional literacy, and in the practice of citizenship both in themselves and in their students.
Candidates should have experience working with the general maintenance of buildings and grounds, and will be expected to have or be willing to obtain a CDL.
Candidate's requirements:
● Leadership abilities, flexibility, and the ability to work self-directed.
● Exhibit professionalism in all situations.
● Ability to supervise and/or direct others.
● Ability to do heavy lifting and perform physical labor.
● Ability to work outdoors during various weather conditions.
● Be willing to drive any of the buses as needed for the daily route, shuttling, or field trips.
● Ability to coordinate deadlines and manage multiple tasks, executing assignments with
attention to detail and adherence to specifications.
● Ability to perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed, such as window cleaning,
dusting, and sweeping.
● Help maintain classroom materials and supplies.
● Help set up for school events and functions.
● Assist with the assembly of classroom or school materials, furniture, and supplies as
needed.
● Ability to assist with safety and emergency situations.
● Ability to work during summer break to participate in the summer grounds and building
maintenance.
