Theatre
Our theatre program encourages Upper Elementary, Middle, and High School students to explore their voices and train their bodies. Students push beyond their comfort zones while developing lifelong skills such as public speaking, improvisation, commitment, and teamwork. In elementary school, students learn the basics of improvisation. Middle schoolers begin writing their own plays, and high school students perform full productions, design sets and lighting, and analyze theatrical texts.
In addition to classroom theatre, Oak Farm Montessori offers the Oak Farm Montessori Theatre Company (OFMTC), with Kavin Ley, Theatre Teacher, an extracurricular program providing opportunities for students to perform in full productions. Launched in the 2022–2023 school year, OFMTC offers a secondary play (6th–12th grades), an elementary play (1st–6th grades), and a secondary musical.

SIX: The Musical – Teen Edition transforms the story of the six wives of Henry VIII into a high-energy pop concert full of bold music, humor, and girl-power anthems.
In this modern retelling, Katherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr take the stage to compete for the crown—each telling her side of the story through powerful songs and unforgettable performances as they try to prove who had it the worst with the infamous king.
But the final decision is up to you! Audience members join the fun by cheering for their favorite queen and helping decide who takes the crown.
To make the experience feel even more like a live concert, glow sticks and other fun concert items will be available for purchase before the show. Come ready to sing, cheer, and light up the theater!
